Swami Nityasthanandaji Maharaj

Swami Nityasthanandaji is the Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math Bangalore. Swamiji joined the Ramakrishna order in the year 1972, at Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru. He is the initiated disciple of revered Swami Vireshwaranandaji Maharaj. Swamiji had sanyasa Diksha in the year 1982. Before taking charge of the Bangalore branch, he served Mysuru Ashrama as president, as Acharya in Training Centre, Belur math and as Secretary of Ramakrishna mission, Davanagere.

He is an erudite scholar and has authored many books in Kannada;

He has also translated many books to Kannada from English, like

1. Great Master

2. Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda

3. Swami Vivekananda Divya Smriti

His learned articles have appeared in leading journals both in Kannada and English. Apart from this, he was the first editor of the order’s Kannada magazine Viveka Prabha. His editorials received unprecedented appreciation. He has special groundings in Indian and Western Philosophy and Psychology.
